A Seagate, conhecida produtora de dispositivos de armazenamento, principalmente discos rígidos, anunciou o fim da linha para os discos IDE. Isso significa que a empresa tenciona deixar de produzir discos IDE para se dedicar exclusivamente à produção de discos SATA.
